Read your invoice and digital warranty card in one minute

The invoice and warranty card are two papers most people file away unread. When you need service, a trade-in or to complain, they are your only evidence. Here are six things to check in one minute at the counter.
Six points on the invoice
- Item name and code. The code matches the laser engraving inside the ring or on the necklace clasp.
- Purity. Shown in parts per thousand (750) or karats (18K). 18K white gold is still 750.
- Weight. Metal weight and stone weight shown separately, matching the scale reading when staff re-weigh in front of you.
- Three price components. Metal value, labour, stone value. Never merged.
- Price board used. The time or number of the board used for the gold price.
- Payment method. From 20 million VND a day, the invoice shows transfer or card.

What the digital warranty card holds
- A lookup code linked to the item code.
- Stone details: for diamonds from 0.30 ct the report number; for melee the count, total carat, colour and clarity range.
- The buy-back and trade-in policy in force on the purchase date, with its version.
- Service history: every cleaning, prong check and resize logs weight before and after.
If you lose the paper
The warranty card is digital; look it up by phone number and item code. The e-invoice can be retrieved with the lookup code printed on it. On buy-back, KBMC finds the original record from the laser code, so no paper invoice is needed.
Spot an error, say so
Wrong name, wrong purity, weight below the tag, missing report: tell staff before leaving the counter. KBMC cancels and reissues the invoice, or you decline the sale. After leaving, file a complaint via Complaints and get a response within 24 hours.
