Description

Inspired by the Vietnamese lotus

The Vietnamese lotus rises from the mud and keeps its purity, and this ring borrows that image for a proposal. A round diamond of approx. 0.70 ct sits at the heart like a dewdrop resting in the flower, with ten 18K white gold lotus petals opening around it, each cradling a small stone, forming a two-tiered halo of light when seen from above.

The center diamond rests among ten lotus petals sculpted in gold, each petal holding a small stone. Side stones are set along both shoulders of the band, catching light from every angle.

A center stone within the flower

A natural round diamond approx. 5.7 mm in diameter, set among ten lotus petals like the heart of the flower.

Twenty side stones

Twenty diamonds ranging from approx. 1.2 mm to approx. 1.4 mm, approx. 0.18 ct in total, divided between the lotus petals and the two shoulders of the ring.

A balanced setting

The setting rises approx. 5.1 mm above the surface of the band, and the ring uses approx. 4.7 g of 18K white gold at size 7.

Craftsmanship

Ten lotus petals are sculpted and cast in 18K white gold. The setter places each small stone in the petals and shoulders under magnification, and the inside of each petal is then polished by hand.

How to wear

Present on the day of the proposal, then pair with the Six-Prong Stud Earrings on the wedding day so the lotus gains two more points of light at the ears.

Diamonds from 0.30 ct come with a report from an independent laboratory. Gold is true to its stated fineness and hallmarked. Lifetime care: free cleaning, polishing, prong tightening and stone checks at every boutique.

Care
