Description

A point of light at the ear

Just two small points of light at the ear are enough to brighten the face each time it turns toward the lamplight. Each earring is a round diamond of about 5.9 mm in diameter standing on six prongs of 18K yellow gold, the metal almost hidden behind the stone so that from the front only light is seen.

A pair of stud earrings, each holding one diamond on six prongs, with a secure screw-back post for all-day wear.

A matched pair of diamonds

Each earring holds one natural round diamond of approx. 0.78 ct, two stones of the same size for a balanced pair.

Six prongs around the stone

Six prongs of 18K yellow gold curl around the stone like six small petals, holding it firmly while touching only its edge.

A gentle screw-back post

The screw back locks securely behind the earlobe, and the pair uses only about 0.9 g of 18K yellow gold, light from morning until night.

Craftsmanship

The six-prong basket is cast in 18K yellow gold and fitted with the ear post. The diamond is placed and each prong turned by hand under magnification, after which the prong tips are polished and the fit of the screw back is checked.
