The blue of this pendant is drawn from the southern sea at midday, when the sun shines straight down into shallow water. The pear-cut aquamarine, approx. 9.9 mm long, lies at an angle as if nudged by a wave, while eighty-nine pavé diamonds glitter around it like the foam left behind.
