Description

A calm sea upon your hand

This ring holds the moment of a windless sea, when the water is so clear that the sand can be seen below. The pear-cut aquamarine, approx. 8.7 mm long, is the first thing to hold the eye. The halo of pavé diamonds around it is like a rim of sunlight on the water, while the two 18K white gold shoulders, set with side stones, lead the eye to the centre.

Five prongs

The aquamarine of approx. 0.75 ct rests on five white gold prongs, which follow the pear curve from the rounded end to the pointed tip.

Forty-two pavé stones

Forty-two diamonds from approx. 0.9 mm to approx. 1.1 mm, approx. 0.14 ct in total, edge the centre stone and run along both shoulders.

A low, compact setting

The setting stands approx. 4.6 mm above the band, so the stone sits close to the finger and catches little on clothing in everyday wear.

Craftsmanship

The craftsman casts the band in one piece from approx. 3.4 g of 18K white gold and raises the five prongs. Forty-two pavé diamonds are then bead-set under magnification before the entire ring is polished.

How to wear

Wear on the middle finger for the evening, or pair with the Sea Blue Earrings and Sea Blue Necklace for a three-piece set in the colours of the sea.
