Choosing wedding bands for two: width, thickness and size
An engagement ring is chosen to be admired; a wedding band is chosen to be worn. A good wedding band is one you forget you are wearing.
1. Width

Partners need not match widths. A common pair is 3 mm for her and 4 to 5 mm for him in the same style.
2. Thickness

3. Inner profile
- Flat: classic, easy to engrave.
- Comfort fit: rounded inside, smoother to wear and easier over the knuckle.
4. Size
- Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly larger.
- Not when hands are cold or just after exercise.
- Large knuckles: size for the knuckle; the band may sit a little loose at the base.
- Bands from 4 mm: half a size above a slim band.

Stones on wedding bands
Full-eternity bands are beautiful but almost impossible to resize. Half-eternity bands resize more easily. If unsure of your size, choose a plain or half-eternity band.
